Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Solnr ("Solnr," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit solnr.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us, including through our contact form or by phone or email. It applies to visitors and prospective customers located in California and elsewhere.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address
- Property and account details: park name, city, and whether your park is master metered or directly metered
- Any other information you choose to include in a message to us
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the Site through Google Analytics, such as your approximate location, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. See our Cookie Policy for details, including how to opt out.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and assess whether solar service may be available for your home
- Coordinate an in-person roof and electrical suitability assessment, if you move forward
- Communicate with you about your inquiry, agreement, or account
- Coordinate with park management where required for a master metered installation
- Maintain records required for permitting, installation, and servicing
- Improve the Site and our services
We do not run a credit check as part of this process, and we do not use the information you submit for that purpose.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform work on our behalf, such as installation, permitting, hosting, or customer communication
- Google, as our website analytics provider (Google Analytics) — see our Cookie Policy for what we send it and how to opt out
- Your park's management, where coordination is necessary to install or maintain a system in a master metered park
- Government authorities or other parties, where required by law, permitting, or interconnection processes
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Your rights and choices
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we have not enabled advertising features in Google Analytics, so we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under the CCPA. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it by skipping Google Analytics for that visit.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Data security and retention
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
